(Swaziland Arts For Education) is proud to debut its first New York exhibition of handmade art and home accents from Swaziland shown for view and purchase to help keep Swazi children in school and HIV negative. The mission of S.A.F.E. is to empower orphans and vulnerable children to complete their education and to stay HIV negative through scholarship.

Crain’s reported this morning that a supermarket is coming to the Toren Condos at 150 Myrtle Avenue. The supermarket will be approximately 11,000 square feet and will feature fresh foods and produce as well as prepared foods, catering services, a sushi bar and cooking classes.
