Free Summer Music Series in Hoyt Plaza

The Court-Livingston-Schermerhorn BID is hosting a free outdoor music series every Wednesday this month in Hoyt Plaza at the corner of Hoyt Street and Schermerhorn Street. The series has featured performances by Brooklyn-based artists Moon Hooh, Claude Gomis, Underground Horns, and No Small Money Brass Band.

This Wednesday evening, June 29th, marks the last performance of the June series with the Robert Lawrence Quartet. The Robert Lawrence Orchestra, conducted by Susan Scherman, has risen above industry stereotypes to bring the Big Band sounds to both connoisseur and newcomer alike. The 19 piece band was formed in 1994 and tailors its size for different occasions. A quartet will perform on Wednesday in Hoyt Plaza from 5 to 7pm.

Stop by after work or shopping for free live music and fresh lemonade from Renaissance Java Cafe!
