The Brooklyn Ballet “took ballet to the streets” today when Ballet students, faculty, and company members presented Classical and Contemporary works at a free community performance called, “Take Ballet to the Streets” in Columbus Park.

“Take Ballet to the Streets” is a free, site-specific performance series in community centers, parks, waterfront piers, senior citizen centers, museums, and schoolyards—all places where new audiences can encounter ballet.
